  • Creole Cajun Seasoning, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Creamy Garlic Herb Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 shallot, finely diced
  • 10 cloves of garlic
  • 1 cup chicken stock or broth
  • 1 tablespoon fresh-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh tarragon, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Season chicken with Creole Cajun seasoning. Sear in a hot skillet until golden. Set aside.
  2. Make the Sauce: Sauté shallot and garlic. Add stock, lemon juice, spices, and mustard. Stir in cream, tarragon, parsley, and parmesan.
  3. Finish the Dish: Return chicken to the pan. Simmer until cooked through. Adjust seasoning to taste. Serve hot garnished with tarragon.
