Ingredients
Scale
-
Pierogies
- 14 ounces frozen pierogi
-
For Air Frying
- 1 tbsp olive oil
-
Optional Toppings
- Sour cream (to serve)
- Caramelized onions (to serve)
- Sautéed mushrooms (to serve)
- Your favorite dipping sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Arrange Pierogies: Evenly lay each frozen pierogi flat in the basket of your air fryer. Make sure they are in a single layer and not overlapping or stacking, as this ensures even cooking.
- Coat with Oil: Spray the pierogies with cooking oil spray, brush with olive oil, or gently toss to coat. Ensure both sides of each pierogi are lightly covered in oil for maximum crispiness.
- Air Fry: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and cook the pierogies for 10-12 minutes. Flip them over halfway through the cooking time for an even golden, crispy texture on both sides.
- Serve: Remove the pierogies from the air fryer and serve immediately while warm. Enjoy with sour cream, caramelized onions, mushrooms, or any of your preferred toppings or dipping sauces.
Notes
- You do not need to thaw pierogies before air frying; cook them straight from frozen.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
- Cooking time may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model and the size of your pierogi.
- Experiment with different toppings and dipping sauces for more flavor variety.
