Description

A refreshing and tangy Blueberry Kombucha Cocktail or Mocktail that combines the sweetness of blueberries with the zing of fresh ginger, lemon juice, and the probiotic goodness of kombucha.


Ingredients

Scale

Fresh Blueberries:

  • 1/2 cup

Fresh Ginger (peeled, chopped):

  • To taste

Lemon (juiced):

  • 1

Agave nectar:

  • 1 Tbsp (or 2 Tbsp for a sweeter drink)

Extra Dry Gin (optional):

  • 2 oz

Ginger Kombucha (or Ginger-Lemon):

  • 6 oz

Instructions

  1. Place blueberries, ginger, lemon juice, and agave into a cocktail shaker. Muddle the ingredients until the blueberries and ginger are broken down.
  2. Strain the liquid using a fine-mesh strainer into a glass and rinse out the cocktail shaker.
  3. Pour the strained muddled liquid back into the cocktail shaker and fill with ice until 3/4 full.
  4. If using gin add it to the cocktail shaker at this time.
  5. Shake the drink until chilled and mixed well. The shaker should become frosty on the outside.
  6. Pour evenly into two 8oz. glasses and top with the kombucha. Enjoy!
