Description

Cheeseburger Wraps combine all the delicious flavors of a classic cheeseburger wrapped in a soft tortilla. Ground beef is seasoned and cooked with ketchup, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce, then wrapped with cheddar cheese, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles. These wraps are quick to make, versatile, and perfect for an easy lunch or dinner. You can enjoy them as is or lightly grill for a warm, melty finish.

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Beef Mixture

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 Tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Wraps

  • 6 flour tortillas
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded (for topping)
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, sliced (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it is no longer pink, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
  2. Add seasonings: Stir in ketchup, mustard, dried minced onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook the mixture for about 2 more minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
  3. Assemble the wraps: Lay out each flour tortilla and place a small amount of shredded cheddar cheese in the center. Add a portion of the cooked beef mixture on top of the cheese, then add diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and sliced pickles as desired.
  4. Roll the wraps: Carefully roll up the tortilla, folding in the ends like a burrito to securely enclose the fillings.
  5. Optional grilling: You can either eat the wraps as they are or grill them on an outdoor grill or indoor grill (such as a George Foreman grill) for 2–4 minutes, just until grill marks appear and the cheese begins to melt.

Notes

  • Use flour tortillas for a soft and pliable wrap; whole wheat tortillas work well as a healthier option.
  • Customize your toppings with sliced onions, ketchup, mustard, or your favorite burger sauces.
  • Grilling the wraps adds a nice smoky flavor and melts the cheese but is optional.
  • Ground turkey or chicken can be substituted for ground beef for a lighter option.
  • Store leftovers wrapped in foil in the refrigerator and reheat on a grill or skillet for best results.
