Description

These Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that’s perfect for a quick dinner or lunch. Tender chicken seasoned with garlic and onion, topped with two kinds of melted cheese, all wrapped up in a warm tortilla with creamy garlic sauce.


Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 2 large chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Wraps:

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup creamy garlic sauce
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Mix diced chicken with oil and seasonings until evenly coated. In a large bowl, combine the diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Cook seasoned chicken in skillet over medium heat 6-8 minutes until cooked through. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes, or until fully cooked.
  3. Spread garlic sauce on tortillas. Add chicken and both cheeses. On each tortilla, spread a layer of creamy garlic sauce. Add a portion of the cooked chicken and sprinkle with both cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Fold tortillas and cook 2-3 minutes per side until golden and cheese melts. Fold the tortillas in half and place them back in the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  5. Slice wraps in half, garnish with parsley if desired. Serve hot. Cut the wraps in half, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Can use chicken thighs instead of breasts.
  • Grill pan adds a smoky flavor.
