A Chicken Caesar Wrap combines crisp romaine lettuce, tender grilled or rotisserie chicken, creamy Caesar dressing, Parmesan cheese, and crunchy croutons all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla for a quick, delicious, and satisfying handheld meal.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Wrap Filling

  • 3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken, grilled, fried, or rotisserie
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup homemade croutons
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Wraps

  • 4 flour tortillas or wraps, 10-inch

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, cooked chicken, Caesar dressing, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and homemade croutons. Use tongs to toss the mixture thoroughly to ensure everything is evenly coated with the dressing. Season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Adjust the dressing amount if desired and set aside.
  2. Warm the tortillas: Heat a large pan over medium heat and warm each flour tortilla for 15 to 30 seconds per side, just until they become pliable and easy to fold. Alternatively, you may microwave the tortillas between paper towels for 15 to 30 seconds. Keep the warmed tortillas covered with a kitchen towel to maintain softness.
  3. Assemble the wraps: Lay each warm tortilla flat on a clean surface. Divide the Caesar salad mixture equally among the tortillas, placing it in the center. Fold in the opposite sides of the tortilla and then roll it up burrito-style to enclose the filling. Secure with a toothpick if needed. Cut the wraps in half or serve them whole immediately.

Notes

  • For best texture and flavor, consume the wraps the same day they are made.
  • You can prep the chicken, lettuce, and dressing mixture in advance to speed up assembly.
  • Use homemade croutons for a more authentic crunch, or store-bought if pressed for time.
  • To keep wraps fresh if made ahead, wrap tightly in foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate; however, the tortilla may lose some softness.
