  • 1/2 cup/120ml unfiltered fresh pressed apple cider or apple juice
  • 2 Ceylon cinnamon sticks (plus more for serving if desired)
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 1 star anise
  • 2 rooibos tea bags
  • Apple slices for serving (optional)
  • Maple syrup or sweetener of choice to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Tea: In a medium saucepan, combine water, apple cider or juice, and spices. Bring to a simmer, then cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Steep the Tea: Remove from heat, add tea bags, cover, and steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and strain spices.
