Description

This Easy Monkey Bread Recipe is a simple and delightful treat perfect for breakfast or dessert. Made with canned cinnamon rolls coated in cinnamon sugar and baked with a luscious butter and brown sugar glaze, this monkey bread is irresistibly gooey, sweet, and perfect for sharing with family and friends.

Ingredients

Scale

Monkey Bread

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cans Grands Cinnamon Rolls

Glaze

  • 1 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • 1 cup butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Heat your oven to 350°F (177°C) to prepare for baking the monkey bread.
  2. Prepare Pan: Lightly grease a cake or fluted bundt pan to prevent sticking and make removal easy.
  3. Mix Cinnamon Sugar: In a large Ziploc bag, combine the 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon to create the cinnamon sugar coating.
  4. Prepare Dough: Separate the dough from the 2 cans of Grands Cinnamon Rolls and cut each cinnamon roll into quarters.
  5. Coat Dough Pieces: Place the dough pieces into the cinnamon sugar mixture bag, seal the bag, and shake well to evenly coat each piece with the cinnamon sugar.
  6. Arrange in Pan: Remove coated dough pieces from the bag and arrange them evenly in the prepared bundt pan.
  7. Make Butter Brown Sugar Mixture: In a small bowl, mix together 1 cup of firmly packed brown sugar and 1 cup of melted butter until combined.
  8. Pour Mixture Over Dough: Pour the brown sugar and butter mixture evenly over the arranged cinnamon roll pieces in the pan.
  9. Bake: Bake the monkey bread for 28 to 32 minutes or until it turns golden brown and is no longer doughy in the center.
  10. Cool and Serve: Let the monkey bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then, carefully invert onto a serving plate. Pull apart to serve warm. Optionally, drizzle with icing from the Grands Cinnamon Rolls for extra sweetness.
