Pasta:

  • 1 lb Fettuccine Pasta

Alfredo Sauce:

  • 6 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Garlic Clove (minced)
  • 1 1/2 cups Heavy Cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/4 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 Tablespoons Italian Parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, heat water over high heat until boiling. Add salt and fettuccine pasta. Cook according to package instructions.
  2. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic, cook for 1-2 minutes. Stir in heavy cream, let it simmer for 5-8 minutes. Add half of parmesan cheese, whisk until smooth.
  3. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Toss cooked pasta with Alfredo sauce. Garnish with remaining parmesan cheese and parsley. Thin out with pasta water if needed.

Notes

  • Use real refrigerated parmesan cheese.
  • To adjust consistency, use leftover pasta water.
