Instructions
- Dissolve the Gelatin: In a large bowl, add the gelatin powder and pour in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir continuously until the gelatin is completely dissolved, which should take about two minutes.
- Incorporate the Yogurt: Whisk in the 2 cups of Greek yogurt thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well combined without lumps.
- Add Cold Water: Pour in 1 cup of cold water and gently stir to blend all ingredients evenly.
- Chill the Mixture: Transfer the mixture into 8 individual serving dishes (approximately 6 oz each) or a medium serving bowl. Cover with plastic wrap or lid and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until the Jello is fully set.
- Serve and Garnish: Before serving, top with whipped cream or Cool Whip and garnish with fresh strawberries or other preferred toppings such as sprinkles, chopped nuts, or fresh mint.
- Storage: Cover and refrigerate any leftovers for up to 5 days to maintain freshness.
Notes
- You may substitute one 6 oz box of Jello with two 3 oz boxes or choose sugar-free Jello for a lower sugar option.
- Whole milk Greek yogurt provides the creamiest texture, but plain or non-fat Greek yogurt can be used as alternatives.
