Description

This One Pot Cheeseburger Pasta recipe combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with pasta in a delicious and easy-to-make one-pot dish.


Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 455g (1lb) extra lean ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 medium fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 2 tbs tomato paste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp mustard powder
  • pinch of salt and black pepper
  • 1/2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbs sukrin gold (or another sweetener of choice)

Additional Ingredients:

  • 300g (10.5oz) uncooked penne pasta
  • 3 cups (720ml) chicken stock + 1 additional cup (240ml)
  • 2-3 tbs chopped pickles
  • 120g (4oz) cheddar cheese (reserve a little for topping)
  • fresh chopped Italian parsley
  • Spray oil

Instructions

  1. Mix Spices: Combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, mustard powder, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Cook Beef: Brown ground beef and onion in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add Ingredients: Mix in spices, tomatoes, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and sweetener. Stir in penne pasta.
  4. Cook Pasta: Pour in stock, bring to a boil, then simmer for 12-14 minutes until pasta is cooked, adding more stock if needed.
  5. Finish Dish: Stir in pickles and cheddar until creamy. Top with parsley and reserved cheddar.
