Description

Refreshing Peach Lemonade is a delightful summer drink that combines the sweetness of peaches with the tartness of fresh lemon juice. This easy-to-make beverage is perfect for sipping on a hot day or serving at a picnic.

  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup water

Stewed Peaches:

  • 3 heaping cups chopped peaches (from 4-5 medium peaches)

Lemonade:

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (from 5-6 lemons)
  • 4 cups water
  • Sliced peaches and/or lemon wheels, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make a honey simple syrup: In a saucepan, combine honey and 1 cup of water. Dissolve the honey over medium heat.
  2. Stew the peaches: Add chopped peaches, simmer for 10 minutes, mash occasionally.
  3. Cool: Let peach mixture cool, then strain.
  4. Mix and serve: In a pitcher, combine peach syrup, lemon juice, and water. Serve over ice with garnishes.
