Description

This refreshing Peach Lemonade is the perfect blend of sweet and tangy flavors, making it an ideal summer drink for any occasion.


Ingredients

Honey Simple Syrup:

  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup water

Stewed Peaches:

  • 3 heaping cups chopped peaches (from 4-5 medium peaches)
  • 4 cups water

Lemonade:

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (from 5-6 lemons)
  • Sliced peaches and/or lemon wheels, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Make a honey simple syrup: In a saucepan, combine honey and 1 cup of water over medium heat until dissolved. Lower heat to medium.
  2. Stew the peaches: Add chopped peaches to the syrup, bring to a simmer, and cook for 10 minutes, mashing occasionally.
  3. Cool: Remove from heat, let cool, then strain into a mixing glass.
  4. Mix and serve: In a pitcher, combine peach syrup, lemon juice, and remaining water. Serve over ice with peach and lemon garnish.
