These Pepperoni Pizza Rolls are a fun twist on traditional pizza, featuring a flavorful filling of pepperoni, cheese, and seasonings, all rolled up in homemade pizza dough.

Dough:
- 1 recipe homemade pizza dough*
Filling:
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 2/3 cup pizza sauce
- Italian seasoning or ground basil, to taste
- Garlic powder, to taste
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 60–65 pepperoni slices
- Optional: 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
- Optional: extra mozzarella cheese and fresh basil
Instructions
- Prepare Dough: Roll out the pizza dough into rectangles.
- Add Filling: Brush with olive oil, spread pizza sauce, sprinkle seasonings, add cheese and pepperoni.
- Roll: Roll the dough tightly into logs and chill.
- Cut and Bake: Cut into slices, coat in cornmeal, bake until golden.
- Serve: Cool slightly, garnish with basil, and enjoy!

- Prepare ahead by chilling the rolls before baking.
- Baked rolls can be frozen for later enjoyment.
- Recipe can be halved for a smaller batch.
- Whole wheat dough can be used as an alternative.
