Description

These Pepperoni Pizza Rolls are a fun twist on traditional pizza, featuring a flavorful filling of pepperoni, cheese, and seasonings, all rolled up in homemade pizza dough.


Ingredients

Dough:

  • 1 recipe homemade pizza dough*

Filling:

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 2/3 cup pizza sauce
  • Italian seasoning or ground basil, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6065 pepperoni slices
  • Optional: 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
  • Optional: extra mozzarella cheese and fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Prepare Dough: Roll out the pizza dough into rectangles.
  2. Add Filling: Brush with olive oil, spread pizza sauce, sprinkle seasonings, add cheese and pepperoni.
  3. Roll: Roll the dough tightly into logs and chill.
  4. Cut and Bake: Cut into slices, coat in cornmeal, bake until golden.
  5. Serve: Cool slightly, garnish with basil, and enjoy!
