Ingredients

Units Scale

Red Layer

  • 4 cups frozen watermelon cubes
  • 1 cup ginger ale soda
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (about 1 lime)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

White Layer

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Blue Layer

  • 4 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup ginger ale soda
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (about 1 lime)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Red Layer: In a blender, combine the frozen watermelon cubes, ginger ale soda, lime juice, and granulated sugar. Blend until completely smooth, about 60-90 seconds. Transfer the mixture to a container and keep cold until ready to use.
  2. Make the White Layer: In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar using a hand mixer until stiff peaks form, about 5 minutes. Store whipped cream in the refrigerator until use.
  3. Blend the Blue Layer: Rinse and clean the blender. Add the frozen blueberries, orange juice, ginger ale, and lime juice. Blend until smooth. Transfer to a container and keep cold until serving.
  4. Assemble the Slushies: In clear glasses, carefully layer the red, white, and blue mixtures in your preferred order to achieve the striped effect. Serve immediately and enjoy the vibrant presentation!

Notes

  • Feel free to layer the colors in any order to achieve your desired look.
  • For chunkier slushies, blend each fruit layer for slightly less time to retain some texture.
  • Chill your glasses before layering to help slow melting.
  • Serve immediately after layering for best visual effect and texture.
