Description

These festive Reese’s Rudolph Bites are a delightful holiday treat combining Reese’s Minis, red M&M’s, mini salted pretzels, candy eyes, and colorful Airheads to create adorable reindeer-themed peanut butter cups. Easy to assemble and perfect for family fun, these no-bake bites bring holiday cheer with every adorable and tasty piece.

Ingredients

Scale

Chocolate Coating

  • 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Main Candy Components

  • 1 (17.6-oz.) package Reese’s Minis
  • 1 family-size package M&M’s (red candies only)
  • 28 mini salted pretzels
  • 1 (2.9-oz.) bottle small candy eyes

Scarf Decorations

  • 3 green Airheads
  • 3 red Airheads
  • 3 white Airheads

Instructions

  1. Melt Chocolate: In a small heatproof bowl, microwave the semisweet chocolate chips in 10-second increments, stirring between each until fully melted and smooth, which should take about 30 seconds total.
  2. Prepare Base Reese’s: Unwrap all Reese’s Minis and remove them from their paper cups. Arrange half of the candies (28 pieces) with the large sides facing down on a clean work surface and set the remaining half aside.
  3. Attach Nose & Eyes: Using a small amount of melted chocolate as glue, attach a red M&M to the center of the small, flat side of each of the laid-out peanut butter cups, pressing gently for a few seconds to ensure adherence. Let them set for a few minutes. Then, use more melted chocolate to attach two candy eyes to the ridged edge of each cup.
  4. Add Antlers: Dab melted chocolate onto the top larger smooth side of each cup and attach a mini salted pretzel, pressing gently. Place the pretzel side down on a baking sheet and refrigerate for about 10 minutes until the chocolate sets firmly.
  5. Prepare Scarves: Meanwhile, flatten the Airheads candy bars using a rolling pin to create thin, even sheets. Using a sharp paring knife, cut the flattened Airheads into 4-inch long strips to form scarves.
  6. Prepare Remaining Reese’s Faces: Arrange the reserved peanut butter cups large side down on a clean work surface. Attach candy eyes and noses similarly using a small dab of melted chocolate. Refrigerate these until the chocolate sets, approximately 10 minutes.
  7. Wrap Scarves: Gently wrap the prepared Airhead strips around the necks of each reindeer and secure them with a small dab of melted chocolate to form scarves.

Notes

  • These Reese’s Rudolph bites are perfect for a family holiday activity and bring fun, festive cheer to any gathering.
  • Use different colored Airheads for varied scarf looks.
  • Refrigerate adequately to ensure chocolate sets and pieces stay firm.
  • Handle candy eyes gently as they can be fragile.
  • These treats are best served chilled or at room temperature shortly after removal from the fridge.
