For the Brisket:
- 1 1/2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (2-lb.) trimmed beef brisket
- 2 chipotle chiles in adobo sauce, minced (about 2 Tbsp.)
- 3 garlic cloves, smashed
For Serving:
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 12 slider buns, toasted
- 1/2 cup spicy pickle chips
Instructions
- Prepare the Brisket: Combine brown sugar, salt, cumin, and black pepper. Rub the brisket with the sugar mixture. Place brisket, chipotle chiles, and garlic in the slow cooker.
- Cook the Brisket: Cover and cook on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours or on LOW for about 8 hours until tender.
- Shred the Brisket: Transfer brisket to a cutting board, shred using forks, and place in a bowl. Add barbecue sauce and reserved cooking liquid; stir to coat.
- Assemble the Sliders: Divide the brisket among bottom bun halves. Top with pickle chips and bun tops.
