Ingredients

Units Scale

Turkey Roll Ups

  • 8 slices Deli Turkey (thick slices)
  • 2 cups Stove Top Stuffing (or homemade, prepared)
  • 1 can Whole Cranberry Sauce
  • 1 cup Turkey Gravy (prepared)

Instructions

  1. Preparation: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lay out the thick slices of deli turkey on a clean working surface, ready for stuffing.
  2. Stuffing the Turkey Slices: Place a generous portion of the prepared stuffing on one end of each turkey slice, distributing the stuffing evenly among all slices.
  3. Adding the Cranberry Sauce: Spoon the whole cranberry sauce into a bowl and stir well to loosen its consistency. Evenly divide and spread some cranberry sauce over the stuffing on each turkey slice.
  4. Rolling and Arranging: Carefully roll up each turkey slice, enfolding the stuffing and cranberry sauce. Place each roll seam side up in a greased baking dish and secure with a toothpick to hold in place.
  5. Adding the Gravy: Pour the prepared turkey gravy evenly over the top of each assembled roll up, ensuring they’re well coated.
  6. Baking: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake an additional 5–10 minutes, until the tops are slightly golden and the sauce is bubbly.
  7. Serving: Allow the turkey and stuffing roll ups to cool slightly before transferring them to serving plates. Garnish with fresh parsley or herbs, if desired, before serving.

Notes

  • Reheating and Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat in the microwave or oven until warmed through; avoid overcooking.
  • Freezer Friendly: Cool roll ups completely, wrap individually in foil or freezer-safe bags, and freeze. Thaw overnight in the fridge and reheat before serving.
  • Make Ahead: Prepare roll ups up to a day in advance and refrigerate until baking. Follow baking instructions when ready to cook.
  • Substitutions & Variations: Mix in sautéed veggies (spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers) with the stuffing, add grated cheese for extra richness, or use ham/chicken in place of turkey.
  • Avoid Soggy Rolls: Ensure stuffing is moist but not wet to prevent soggy roll ups.
  • Easy Rolling: If turkey is stiff, microwave slices briefly to make rolling easier.
  • Don’t Overstuff: Use toothpicks to secure overfilled roll ups; avoid tearing the turkey slices.
  • Extra Flavor: For added color and texture, lightly sear assembled rolls in a skillet before baking.
